I will be submitting final awards Friday AM, so I need everyone to all login to the CubScoutTracker system (the one where you received an email and password last week) and check/update your scout’s electives.
I have several scouts that will be earning a Tiger Badge without any Tiger Track Beads (those are the beads earned for completing electives). I know that everyone completed electives because we did some in meetings such as ‘help a parent with a chore,’ or ‘build a model,’ etc. You can also take a look at the electives online and simply email me the # of the items that your scout has completed. Go to: http://meritbadge.org/wiki/index.php/Tiger_Cub_Electives.
If you could please update your scout’s electives no later than Thursday night (tomorrow, 4/25), I would greatly appreciate it. I want to make sure that our awards are in early.
If you have not returned your camp cards yet, please do so as soon as possible. We (Tigers) haven’t been to Prospect in the last few weeks due to our field trips, so please call Jamia to make arrangements to meet with her directly, if you have not already done so. You can reach her at 404-886-1890.
See you next week @ Awards!
The radio station visit is today at WJGA 92.1 FM that broadcasts from Jackson, GA. We must be there by 6:30 to begin the tour and to have time to get on the air before the station closes down. We should be done by no later than 7:30, possibly sooner.
This is our last required outing for the boys to earn their final achievement and cross over to the Wolves! Please let me know if you need help getting your scout to the event!
WJGA 92.1 FM

*If you get lost, please call myself (678-249-0889) or Mary Vinings (678-349-4505)
As a reminder, we are having our Monday 4/15 meeting at the bowling alley in McDonough – FunBowl!
FunBowl of Henry County
300 Hwy 155 South
McDonough, GA 30253
We plan to meet in front of Prospect Methodist Church at 6:45pm and follow Billy or Mary over to the bowling alley. We need to leave promptly at 6:45 since it is a 20 minute drive, so if you cannot make it to Prospect by 6:45, please meet us directly at FunBowl by 7:00. Please text me at 678-249-0889 if you plan to meet at Prospect, so I know how many to expect.
This event will serve as the boys ‘watch a sport and learn its rules’ achievement and they will also earn a belt loop for participation. We will use the funds from the Den account to cover the cost of the games ($1 per game), the cost of shoe rental for the boys ($4 each), and the cost of 1-2 pitchers of juice ($5 each pitcher).
I will bring icecream and cake for snack since that is the only allowed outside food (they were told that this is our ‘end of the year den party’). We will have enough icecream, cake, and juice for everyone, including siblings, but parents will need to plan to cover their own shoe rental and any siblings that attend the event.
Please let me know if you have any questions. See you soon!
I have moved our Radio Station visit to Monday 4/22 at 6:30 to allow more time to arrange travel plans for scouts/parents that may have conflicts with work. Please be ready to discuss this when we meet this Monday 4/8.
Also, I am planning on scheduling our ‘watch a sport’ activity on Monday 4/15 which will likely be at the bowling alley; I should have all the details when we meet on Monday 4/8. For these last two trips, please speak with myself, Mary Vinings, or Robert (Gunnar’s dad) if you need help getting your scout to the events – these are our last required outings and we want all of our scouts to advance at the end of the month!
The very LAST pack meeting and awards ceremony is Monday, April 29th. The only meeting in May is the advancement ceremony which takes place Saturday 5/4. Please check to make sure that your scout is up to date with his activities and send me an email to let me know what has been completed. I need to have everything in no later than 4/22!
See you all Monday (or today if you are coming to the birthday party – 3pm Chucky Cheese in Conyers!)
